LAHORE: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has said he has serious life threats from the British government and his passport can also be confiscated.

He was addressing a gathering of party workers in Lahore on Friday by telephone on the eve of inauguration of his book titled “Falsafa-e-Muhabbat”.Altaf lamented that the British police have badly disturbed his life, adding that he was ready to face any kind of situation.

The MQM chief resolved to be determinant and said he never bowed in front of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and establishment so he would never bow before the British police. He cautioned his party workers that international and national (Pakistani) establishment might take his life.Altaf disclosed that no politician except he had rejected offer of money. About Lahore, Altaf hoped that MQM’s love with the city would become fruitful one day.
