KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) protested outside the office of ARY News at Zaibunnisa Street Road, Karachi on Tuesday against Mubashir Luqman, anchor of program ‘Khara Sach’, ARY News reported.

The protesters including members of Rabitta Committee chanted slogans against Mubashir Luqman for degrading Altaf Hussain and Muahjirs.

While talking to media MQM leader Haider Abbass Rizvi said that MQM believe on complete freedom and neutrality of media but it is the responsibility of media to do their job with sincerity without violating the prescribed boundaries.

MQM leader said that Luqman’s fanatic approach to humiliate Chief of MQM Altaf Hussain and Muhajirs is condemnable.

He said it is the right of media and anchors to criticize anyone but one should not follow biased attitude.

Rizvi stated that if any biased anchor directly hurt MQM’s image for the sake of their channel’s TRP, MQM will adopt every legal and constitutional way to counter it. He requested administration of ARY to control Mubashir Luqman.

Rizvi claimed that the policy followed by the anchor is violating the limits of decency, democracy and morality, which is not appreciable.
