Dunya News presenter Kamran Shahid slapped with a massive pay cut

ISLAMABAD – Dunya News presenter Kamran Shahid has been hit with a massive pay cut just days after another top anchor met the same fate.

Insiders say that Shahid, who hosts the talk show On the Front, has had his salary cut by nearly Rs1500000.

Last week, Moeed Pirzada, also a presenter at Dunya News, opted to leave after his pay was slashed by about 35 percent.

Dunya News is going for downsizing to cut down on expenses. There are reports, although unconfirmed that the management sacked over 80 staffers, mostly on the technical side, in Lahore.

On Monday, the managers terminated two senior camera operators in Islamabad and the head of the Information Technology Section.
