Saudi Girl Proved A Sex Worker Who Went To Syria For Jehad

Aïsha left Saudi Arabia to go carry out “sex jihad” in Syria, where she became pregnant with an Islamist fighter’s child. Or at least, that’s the story several official Iranian media outlets have reported. But Iranian Internet sleuths quickly realised it was fishy.

The site Bultan News originally published an article last week in which it described the story of a young Saudi woman named Aïsha who left for Syria three months ago, in order to fulfil the sexual needs of jihadists fighting against Bashar Al-Assad’s regime. Once her task completed, the article says, she went home, pregnant with one of the fighters’ children.

However, Iranian bloggers quickly discovered that the photo used to illustrate the article was in fact taken from a pornographic website. They believe this story was invented by Iranian media to discredit the Syrian opposition. Iran’s Shiite government sides with the Syrian regime, which is fighting against mainly Sunni rebels.

Rumours of a so-called “sex jihad” in Syria have been circulating for several months now. However, as of yet, no concrete, credible proof has emerged.
