کچھ دن قبل سوشل میڈیا پر لندن میں مقیم ن لیگی رہنما ڈاکٹر اشرف چوہان کی عمران خان کی بیٹی ٹیریان خان کے ساتھ ایک تصویر وائرل ہوئی جس پر بہت سی افواہیں اڑائیں گئیں۔ کچھ لوگوں نے اس کو سیاسی رنگ دینے کی کوشش کی۔ اس پر ڈاکٹر اشرف چوہان نے ٹویٹ کرتے ہوئے وضاحت کی اور لکھا "ایک نوجوان خاتون کے ساتھ میری تصویر ایک نجی محفل میں لی گئی۔ کسی نے پکڑ لیا، سیاسی کیپشن ڈالا اور سوشل میڈیا پر ڈال دیا۔ میں متعلقہ معزز خاندان کو سماجی طور پر جانتا ہوں اور کبھی پاکستانی سیاست پر بات نہیں کی۔ کیپشن بالکل غلط ہے۔"۔
