خیبر پختونخوا کے 21 اضلاع میں اتوار کے روز 65 نشستوں پر ضمنی بلدیاتی انتخابات ہوئے، جن میں 40 آزاد امیدوار کامیاب ہوگئے۔
غیر سرکاری اور غیر حتمی نتائج کے مطابق تحریک انصاف 14نشتیں جیت کر تمام سیاسی جماعتوں پرسبقت لے گئی۔ جے یو آئی 6، جماعت اسلامی نے 5، اے این پی 4جبکہ پیپلز پارٹی 2نشستیں جیت سکی۔ ٹی ایل پی کو ایک نشست ملی۔
