Samia Chaudhry (PMLN) Ko Qatal Se Pehle Ziadati Ka Nishana Banaya Gaya - Husband



LAHORE – The PML-N worker who was found dead in Chamba House last night, was raped before killed, her husband has alleged.

But the initial post-mortem report shows the death was natural. However, police are waiting for complete report.

Samia Chaudhry, 35, was wife of a Federal Bureau of Revenue employee Asif Mehmood and mother of three children. She was found dead by police on Saturday. She was a worker of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and lived in Islamabad.

According to her husband, Asif Mehmood, she went to Shorkot Cantt along with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz party workers on November 20 and came back to Lahore on 22. “She talked to me last time on Nov 24. But on Saturday, I was informed about her death”, he mentioned in his application to police.

The husband added that his wife was a relative of Harappa MNA Chaudhry Ashraf.

While Mr. Ashraf cleared Samia was only a resident of his constituency, not his relative. She wanted to become a parliamentarian on a reserved seat, the MNA told the media on Sunday.

A case has been registered with the Race Course Police Station against unknown persons.

According to the FIR, the couple had been married for 19 years.
